On our meeting of the 8th October our speaker was Niamh Condren from Evolve.

This not for profit organisation has the mission of providing a supportive environment for disadvantaged young people. This helps them to ‘evolve’ into strong, caring and purposeful individuals.

Evolve operate Typo Station a bush property which forms the base for two of their key programs of Bush Therapy and Narrative Therapy. The therapies are aimed at improving the self image of the young men and women who are involved in the programs.

At the close of the talk A cheque for $1,000 was presented to Niamh from the club.
